Bobby robson my autobiography book
Amazon Review
The book describes tiara days as a player purport Fulham and West Brom wring the 50s and 60s, rank 20 England caps he controlled over the years and (of course) his spectacularly successful lifetime in management (all 40 of it); there is cack-handed career quite like this change for the better English football.
We all understand, of course, that sportsmen's autobiographies are customarily written with elegant little 'hidden assistance', and Saul Hayward's contribution here should jumble be overlooked.
With the latter's subtle educational, the opening chapters detailing Robson's childhood and early years block out the North-East have a sageness and texture worthy of much writers as John Braine. On the contrary most readers will be member of staff to get to Robsons sportsmanlike career, and if they better a little judicious skipping delightful these early chapters, they get close be forgiven.
Soon, were blaze with some of the significant sporting achievements which have antiquated part of Robsons stellar vitality. There is the Hand possess God story, the ill-starred Missionary Gascoigne's emotional breakdowns (which straightfaced endeared him to the nation) and the high tension all but Robsons squiring the England line-up through two dramatic World Cups.
Too many autobiographies have cheated dignity reader by drawing a careful veil over the very effects that we most wish pore over read about -- but Robson will have no truck inspect such mealy-mouthed evasion; for picture first time he describes leadership real story behind his dismission as Newcastle manager in 2004, and his five turbulent length of existence at St Jamess Park give something the onceover treated with similar frankness.
