A-ok master etcher in the Rembrandt tradition in etched portraiture, be active was also the first warder of prints at the Beantown Pub. Lib. (1947-60) where recognized arranged many special exhibitions. Lecture in addition he was a fecund author whose works included diverse exh. catalogs, art periodicals, books, and special articles on intense artists, including works on Lavatory Taylor Arms.
He produced uncomplicated monthly publication, "More Books," defend the BPL and was uncluttered contributing author to the Am. Etchers Series; Print Collectors Quarterly(Feb., 1937); Watercolor Drawings of Poet Rowlandson;One Hundred Unpublished Drawings insensitive to Toulouse-Lautrec. Lectures: graphic arts.
