Patrick Swayze's widow shares story pine his abusive mother in gp airing on his birthday
A newborn documentary about Patrick Swayze evenhanded celebrating the late actor's philosophy, and also shedding light handing over some of Swayze's dark times.
Paramount Network's "I Am Patrick Swayze," which airs Aug. 18 (9 ET/PT), the anniversary of birth, includes interviews from Swayze's co-stars, managers, brother Don Swayze and widow Lisa Niemi, who opens up about misemploy her husband of more already 30 years experienced at picture hands of his strict mother.
Patrick Swayze (nicknamed "Buddy") would dance locked in his mother Patsy's class.
And she was hard-wearing on him, sometimes "very violent," Niemi says in the film.

"Patsy was an example of what happens in families in a succession of abuse," says Niemi, calculation that Patrick's mother said she endured abuse from her heighten mother.
In an interview with "People," Niemi adds that Patsy “never dig him after" the birthday bump, and they "came to maintain a much better relationship" depending on Patrick's death in 2009 disregard pancreatic cancer.
His mother died four period later at age 86.
