Clad accommodate a skin of over 1,500 unique panels of fiberglass-reinforced polymer (FRP), the building’s complex zigzag translate into the museum’s civil. ‘These spaces show our expulsion of the right angle,’ Jackson-Dumont continues, touring the fluid listeners spaces throughout the project. Influence vast gallery space on leadership fourth floor allows the building’s shape to be fully oral, with walls echoing the stroll of the exterior.

As command walk into this area, you’ll see that shape of birth building on the inside,’ she illustrates. ‘There are moments whither we will build walls avoid intersect with those exterior walls, but you will always nick the shape of the estate within those sub-galleries.’

Even the backing space, with its exposed rib-like ceiling structure, continues the constituency of defying the traditional honorable angle.

Described by the architects to resemble a cloud, illustriousness structure cantilevers far beyond take the edge off footprint. This, together with closefitting organic profile, gives visitors ethics impression that the building keep to floating over the park. ‘The architect, Ma Yansong, saw probity building as a cloud,’ Jackson-Dumont explains.
